The fall measures up to 75 feet in height. For visitors, there is a big parking area and a self-service pay station for visitors to purchase and display the daily pass on their vehicle ($5 per day) due to being part of the US National Forest System. You can use this pass in other US forest sites as well.

History of Diana’s Bath

George Lucy built a water wheel-powered sawmill in 1860. Later, he built 12-room boarding houses for visitors. In 1930 Chester Lucy built a concrete dam and turbine system to replace a water wheel-powered sawmill.

Later, both became sold to the US government and now it is part of the national forest.

  • The parking area for Diana’s Bath is located on West Side Road, North Conway NH 03860.
  • From Convey Village go north on route 16/302 (White Mountain Highway).
  • Then turn left on River Road and go straight on River RD up to 1 mile when the road changes to a west side road.
  • Go straight for 1.5 miles and you will see the parking board for Diana’s Bath on the left-hand side of the road.

The flow and intensity of the fall depend on the season. In summer it is reduced and during fall the flow is very large so be careful while planning the trip

The parking area is often full but you can get a spot if you wait for a few minutes.
